Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello...

World Card Making Day is a holiday for card makers around the world to celebrate the creativity of handmade cards and the personal connection that they create between friends and family (click here to view the World Card Making Day website).

Celebrated the first Saturday in October, World Card Making Day endeavors to bring together card makers around the world at a time that is traditionally the busiest time of year for card- and gift-making.

How did you celebrate World Card Making Day? I celebrated with some stamping friends at my Holiday Stamp-A-Stack #1. I will post about the details in the next couple of days along with the cards we completed and information about how to order kits to make the 5 cards yourself.

Today also marks the first day of Stampin' Up!'s week long Simply Sent Promotion to celebrate World Card Making Day. From October 4 - 11 Stampin' Up! is offering all Simply Sent Card Elements and Simply Sent Card Kits for 20% OFF (see catalog pages 176-177). Don't miss out on this great opportunity to save on some great products. Contact me today to order these items before the sale expires.

Until next time...
Cherise :)
