IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM STAMPIN' UP!

There is an important announcement that just came from Stampin' Up! Some of you have been wanting this...


Stampin' Up! announces that they will be going back to an annual catalog, instead of two catalogs a year! This change will take place with the release of the next catalog coming up in July 2009.


What does this mean...

• Beginning in July 2009, they will go back to an annual catalog
• The US Hispanic supplement will also become an annual catalog
• The Decor Elements catalog will continue to be separate from the Idea Book & Catalog, and will come out twice a year.
• The mini catalog program will change to include three mini catalogs a year, each lasting for four months

In addition to the changes mentioned above, they will be introducing a small selection of hostess sets in each mini catalog. This will give customers more reasons to host workshops throughout the year.


More information about the changes will be coming in the next few months.


I know some of you have been hoping that this would happen. I have mixed feelings. I love two catalogs a year, and more new items, but didn't like the timing with the release of the catalogs, as December/January is not a good time for a new catalog. I am very happy that they will be having more mini catalogs again and thus offering more new products, including hostess sets, every four months. This will definitely be easier to deal with. There has been no mention of it but I'm assuming this means the end of the unpopular, confusing, dormant list, which I am very happy about.
